Roberta Jean Warnock
Roberta Jean Warnock, better known as Bobbie or Grandma Bob to her grandchildren, was born Nov. 30, 1936, to Robert Prothero and Genevieve Burt in Prescott, Ariz. She went peacefully to heaven on Jan. 30, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Bobbie grew up in San Mateo, Paradise, and Sacramento, Calif. She graduated from San Mateo High School and attended Sacramento State University. While in college, she was a song leader and a member of Sigma Alpha Sigma Sorority. She married her college sweetheart, Dave, in 1959. Their early years of marriage were spent in Sacramento where all three of their children were born. Dave's job took them to Texas and Arizona and then finally to Oklahoma in 1976.
Bobbie was a homemaker. She was involved in several of her children's activities including 4-H, FFA, and she was a leader in Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. She traveled with her daughter, Danelle, to many horse shows. Bobbie was a lover of all animals and once her children left home she fostered and rescued many dogs. She was also a servant to her church family and participated in the choir, Christmas musicals, volunteered in the nursery, GMC's, chaired the benevolence committee, and ran the Lottie Moon Christmas Post Office.
She had many friends and enjoyed traveling with them to Lake Tahoe, Eureka Springs, Branson, and South Dakota. She could be known to make late night Braums' runs in her pajamas with Linda.
After closing the family home, Bobbie lived in Luther, Okla., and then Silver Elm Senior Living with her dear friend, Darlene. Bobbie had many friends and she treasured their friendships. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren tremendously.
Bobbie is survived by her children, David Warnock and wife Susan, Douglas Warnock and wife, Lynette, and Danelle Brudzinski and husband, Paul; her grandchildren, Derrick and wife, Kayla, Jacob, Cameron and wife, Kayla, Jackson and wife, Ellie, Kent, Hannah and husband, Brian, Hank and Hollie; her great-grandchildren, Jadyn, D.J., Thatcher and Emberly.

Mothers are the foundation of the family. Loss of a loving Mother leaves a hole that is extremely hard to fill.
