Linda  Morgan
Linda Morgan of Edmond, Okla., passed away Nov. 11, 2019. She was born June 19, 1947, in Stillwater, Okla., and was a lifelong resident of the OKC metro area, having lived in Edmond for 40 years.
Linda had a love for reading, pursued a lifetime of various artistic endeavors, and loved each of her cat "roommates". She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Edmond and truly enjoyed the many friends she made in her Bible study classes.
Professionally, she retired from the finance division of the State Department of Agriculture, where she received numerous accolades for her work. In the early 90s, Linda worked at the Edmond Evening Sun, where she managed legal advertising for the paper.
Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gloria Rooks of The Village, Okla.
Linda is survived by son, Jack R. Morgan, AIA and wife, Sarah of Edmond; son, Lee Morgan and wife, Lisa of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and sister, Janice Jones and husband, Jim of Waggoner, Okla.
A celebration of life will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at First United Methodist Church, 305 E Hurd, Edmond, OK 73034.
Services are under the direction of Memorial Park Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, Okla.
