Jesse Stephen Hampton
The world was robbed of Jesse Stephen Hampton this Sunday, March 8, 2020. He was born March 30, 1985, to Stephen and Margo Hampton. He was their only son. He was a supportive, loving husband to the love of his life, Amanda Hampton, for 10 years. He joyously embraced fatherhood and took Alli Dirkschneider as his own daughter. Because of his life and love of Amanda Hampton, the world has been wonderfully blessed with the life of Bentlie Hampton for eight years.
Jesse's sisters, Rebekah Barger, Rachel Dymon, and Sarah Tilford, wouldn't be the women they are today without their life-long loving relationship with their only brother. From childhood wrestling to midnight comfort bean burrito as teenagers, their relationship with him is irreplaceable.
The world has never met a harder worker. For 17 years, he worked operating and maintaining the family business. A servant to his family his whole life, there was never a time where if they called, he wouldn't come running to bear the burden. From projects with his father, a gift for his sisters, a helping hand for his brother-in-laws and hugs for his mother, he was always there.
On top of all the times he was there for his parents and siblings, it was always his wife and daughters first. Through sickness, loss of loved ones and all of life, he was there for his wife, Amanda. His first priority was always to make sure Alli and Bentlie couldn't doubt his love for them. Everything was for them.
The world truly was better with him in it, and his family is deeply at a loss without him.
Come-and-go visitation for Jesse will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 13 at Crawford Family Funeral Service. The family will be receiving friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at a reception at the funeral home chapel.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Jesse will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Bridgeway Church, 228 W. Hefner Rd., Oklahoma City, OK 73114, with burial to follow at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, Okla.
