Lola Eileen Deese left this earth for her heavenly home on April 15, 2017. Lola was born, December 12, 1942 in Naturita, Colo. to her loving parents David Frank and Grace Eileen Morelock. Growing up in beautiful Colorado, Lola and her six siblings enjoyed many adventures and special times together. Being five girls and two boys, no doubt the girls were victorious the majority of the time.
After leaving Colorado she ended up in West Texas where she met and married the love of her life and best friend, Paul Deese. To this union, two children were born to complete their family; Paul Lee and Rebecca Dee. In May of 1967 the family relocated to Edmond, Okla. where she lived until her death. During this time, she worked various jobs to help support her family; these include TG&Y Department Store, Farmers Insurance Group and Ricon Construction company. Her life was centered around her family. Trips to Colorado for vacation and reunions were common along with Las Vegas and Texas, throughout her life. Many fun memories were made as a family, but the fondest of times were spent being together and enjoying one another.
Preceded in death by her devoted parents, David and Grace Morelock; beloved husband, Paul; brothers, Jack Morelock and Ronnie Morelock; sisters, Cretia Burris, Jerry Ward and Vera Lynn Ralston.
Lola is survived by her son, Paul Lee Deese and wife Marsha of Arcadia, Okla.; daughter, Rebecca Deese of Edmond; grandchildren, Amy Kingry and husband John of Edmond; Lezley Deese of Bartlesville, Okla.; and Justin Deese of Midwest City, Okla. as well as four great grandchildren and numerous caring family and friends.
A visitation will be from 12 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday April 20, 2017 at Baggerley Funeral Home.
