Funeral services for Landen R. Smith, age 8, of Edmond, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at North Church with Pastor Samson Varughese officiating. Visitation will be Monday, November 9, from 1 - 8 p.m. at the North Church, 1601 West Memorial Road, Oklahoma City. A second service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, in the First Baptist Church, Darrouzett, Texas with Pastor Steven Ammons officiating. Burial following in the Darrouzett Cemetery. Services under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, Enid, Okla. Landen was born on December 14, 2006 in Moore, Okla. to Khia Smith. He was a third grader at Cross Timbers Elementary in Edmond. Landen loved his Legos, Minecraft, and Dr. Who. He enjoyed spending time with his extended family. He loved meeting people and meeting new friends. Landen will most be remembered for his enthusiastic energy, playful smile, his humor and laughter, and most of all his loving heart. Landen was preceded in death by his two cousins, Braydin Davis and Bailey Majors; and great grandparents, Reinhold Meier, Tae Suk Hammons, and Herchel Smith. He is survived by his mother, Khia; brother, Carson Bowers; his other parents, Uncle Jason and Aunt Candace Becker; grandparents, David Ray Meier and Kathleen Marie Smith, Scott and Nancy Cummins; great grandfather, Bill Hammons; cousins, Greyson and Brooklyn; aunt Chelsea Smith, many other relatives and friends.
