Clifford Tilden Wright died Friday, March 10, 2017 at the age of 54 in Edmond, Okla., where he resided with his wife of 35 years, Anita Louise Wright.
Cliff was born June 17, 1962 in Grants, N.M. to Glenn and Ann Wright. He graduated from Mayfield High School in 1980 and one year later married his high school sweetheart, Anita Elmore, on October 16, 1981. Cliff graduated from NMSU in 1985 with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. His most recent employment was at Northrup-Grumman in Oklahoma as a procurement analyst.
As a young man, he enjoyed motocross with his brother and loved building and flying RC airplanes. He also enjoyed bowling and the whole family bowled regularly on leagues for many years. He was fascinated by all things planes and trains, and spent twenty years babying his old 1964 Ford pick-up truck. He loved listening to a variety of music, was a hobby photographer, and loved doting on his grandchildren. He and Anita are involved in their church, New Covenant UMC, where they teach Financial Peace University.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Ray Wright. Cliff is survived by his mother, Ann Carolyn and her husband Chuck Colwell, his wife Anita Louise Wright, his brother Glenn Ray Wright, Jr., daughter Kathryn Andrews, son-in-law Chris Andrews, son David Wright, and by his three grandchildren Adalaide, Frieda, and Joseph Andrews, and by many other family and friends.
Clifford regularly gave blood and platelets to the Oklahoma Blood Institute and the family would like you to consider giving blood or monetary gifts to the blood institute at OBI.org or your local blood bank in lieu of flowers.
