Truman L. Coffman


Truman L. Coffman, 75, of Edmond, Okla., passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019, at The Fountains of Canterbury. He was born in Hopper, Ark., on April 22, 1943 to Loyd and Virgie (Walker) Coffman. Truman married Sondra Sharron Russell on May 28, 1964.
Truman was an avid hunter, fisherman, knife maker, archer and all-around outdoorsman. He loved God, his family and his country.
Truman is survived by his wife, Sharron Coffman of Edmond, Okla.; brother, Ed Coffman of Crystal Springs, Ark.; daughter, Terri Coffman Sinclair and Darrin Sinclair of Great Bend, Kan.; son, John Coffman of Edmond, Okla.; daughter, Cindy Coffman Mahle of Edmond, Okla.; grandchildren: Chase Sinclair of Overland Park, Kan., Kylie (Sinclair) Birney of Ellinwood, Kan., Kenzie (Sinclair) Schissel of Scottsville, Ky., Kiersten (Sinclair) McHenry of Pittsburg, Kan., Kimberlyn Sinclair of Great Bend, Kan., Vivian Coffman LaPaglia of Magnolia, Texas, Courtney (Coffman) Lewis of Durant, Okla., Jillian Carla Coffman of Magnolia, Texas, Ashley (Huston) Keys of Edmond, Okla., Kaden Mahle of Edmond, Okla., Noah Mahle of Edmond, Okla., and Taylor Mahle of Edmond, Okla.; great-grandchildren: Ella Grace Keys of Edmond, Okla., Luke LaPaglia of Magnolia, Texas, and Grayson Birney of Ellinwood, Kan.
Truman and Sharron were members of Memorial Road Church of Christ for the past 30 years. A celebration of Truman Coffman's life will be 2 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Memorial Road Church of Christ, 2221 E. Memorial Road, Edmond, OK 73013.
