My heart was broken to hear that my Uncle Phil was gone. Like my other cousins, Uncle Phil was a big part of my childhood. From time at the lake with Uncle Phil and Aunt Barb to ice skating lessons he was always there for me. When I was a teenager he would fix my cars as quick as I could wreck them and never made me feel bad about it. I am so sad for my beloved cousins Phillip and Benji and my Aunt Barb for their great loss. He was a great man and he will be missed.

Phil, I am so blessed to have you as my brother. You have touched so many in your lifetime. You did the work God gave you to do well. Your love for your family and friends was very evident. Your smile and your laughter was contagious. I’m so proud to call you “brother” and I’m missing you so much. I love you.

I have so many amazing memories of my uncle Phil. His smile and laugh were contagious. His love for family was so genuine. I have great memories from all the family get togethers, like Christmas and the 4th of July. Having family come visit when they moved to Texas so everyone could stay in touch.
I believe God gives us all characteristics that shine through in all situations and I know my uncle had many. These are things only God can give. His were, love, kindness, friendship, honor. All that he came in contact with were I'm sure instantly friends. I will miss him greatly! I love you uncle Phil.

Phil was quite the man. A great Dad to Phillip and Benji, awesome husband to Barbara and a caring June, Jennifer and several others. He treated everyone like family and I’m glad he was in my life as a 16 yr old and up for many years. I look back in the Times with Phil Holbrook with a big grin and great memories. RIP Phil.
