Neitha's Story

Neitha Lee Thompson Canada was born in Edmond, Okla. on March 8, 1934 to Henry Clyde Thompson and Adalia "Dallie" McLean Thompson.
Neitha was a longtime member of The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She played piano, was accomplished at sewing and crochet and loved gardening both vegetables and flowers, but especially her prized Iris.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 26 years, Roger "Fred" Canada, Sr.; her sons Roger Fred Canada, Jr. and Brian Edward Canada; her sisters, Miriam, Flozee, Lucille and Travetine; her brother Vernon Thompson, and her nephew Gary Thompson.
She is survived by her husband Bill Mountford; her daughter Darla Canada Ryan; her brother Albert Thompson; her grandchildren, Roger Canada, Jennifer Canada, Brianna Flowers, David Ryan, Justin Ryan and Tara Ryan; her great-grandchildren, Brian Shields, David Ryan, Blaine Orr and Jayden Canada, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. As a wife and mother, was loved and appreciated beyond measure.
