Mary's Story

Mary Kay (Williams) Roy, 82, of Edmond, Okla., and most recently of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016.
Born in Lawrence, Kan., on April 8, 1934, she is the daughter of the late Frank J. Williams and Mary Elizabeth Newland.
Mary Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Ara Fielding Roy and son Gary Franklin King. She is survived by three sons: Timothy King and Kawita, Michael King, and David King and Deedra; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who will always cherish the memory of their Aunt Kay.
Mary Kay was a long time resident of Midwest City and Edmond where she worked as a licensed practical nurse for over 30 years. Her passion in her later years was quilting and spending time with her Quilt Guild in Guthrie.
Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Baggerley Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mary Kay will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
