Marilyn Gale Chedester Marilyn Gale Chedester was born June 1, 1937 in Manitou, Okla. to Clarence and Edna Mae Reffner and passed away on Dec. 9, 2018. She attended and graduated from Manitou High School.
Marilyn worked for the United States Postal Service for 37 years. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Luther, Okla.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Robert L. Chedester; her parents; son, Charles Wayne Stevenson; and brother, F.A. Reffner.
She is survived by her children, Michael Ray Stevenson (Robin), Michelle West (Skip), and daughter-in-law Janice Stevenson; grandchildren, Dani Grate, Jon Grider, Samantha Dewees, Lauren May, and Kristin Stevenson; great-grandchildren, Brennon Goforth, Mya Stevenson, Scottie Wilson and Lonna Dewees, Anna and William Blake, Evelyon and Olivia Grider, as well as many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Baggerley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 at Messiah Lutheran Church.

My condolences to the family, I worked with Marilyn for six years at the Edmond Post Office and she was a great woman to be around.I have special memories of her that will last a life time. Bill Shockey
