Margaret E. Wilmoth, 96, of Edmond, Okla., passed away on December 12, 2015. Margaret was the only child born to Ira and Gertrude Brightwell at “Chapman Ranch” in Mannsville, Okla., on June 11, 1919. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service and was co-owner of Edmond Carpet Service. She loved camping with her family and friends, traveling, swimming, fishing, beach combing at Padre Island, playing cards and activities with Church family. She was an excellent cook and seamstress and loved caring for others. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bennett Cathey, Wayne Wilmoth and Robert Sharp; daughter, Gaye Bryant; one grandchild, Don Gene Bryant; two sons-in-law, Donald Bryant and Larry Cone, and numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Cathey Barber Lopez and Cheryl Wilmoth Cone; grandchildren, Kevin and Denise Barber, Adam and Natalie Barber, Mark Cone, Steve and Kelly Cone, Michelle and Tim Landis, Norma Jeanne and Ray Wiyninger, Jan and Marty Cole, Brenda and Ron Rudolph and Keith and Tina Bryant; 22 great-grandchildren and 14 great great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family wishes contributions be made to Saint Jude Hospital, Hope Center of Edmond or the Wounded Warrior Project. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the First Christian Church Chapel, Edmond, with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Edmond.
