Kenneth Lee Fields, Sr., 77, died March 2, 2018, at his home in Edmond, Okla.
A native Oklahoman, Kenny was born Feb. 25, 1941, to John Francis and Dorothy (Thompson) Fields in Oklahoma City, Okla. A true cowboy, Kenny was retired from the Oklahoma National Stockyards and Heritage Place. After retirement, he continued training horses at his home with his wife Linda.
Kenny was a member of Victory Church in Edmond. He was known for his kindness, quick wit, and work ethic. He dearly loved his family and friends, and most of all his little dogs.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda; daughter Stacey Matthews and her husband Gary of Tulsa, Okla.; son Trace Fields of Edmond; son Kenny Fields, Jr. and his wife Jayna of Edmond; sister Jacquelyn Guy and her husband Don; brother-in-law Reed Jackson, Sr. and his wife Josephine; grandsons Tanner Fields, Brody Fields, Cody Ornelas, and Christian Ornelas; granddaughter Kinsey Fields; great-grandsons Jeremy Ornelas and Carter Ornelas; nephew Reed Jackson, Jr; niece Rhonda Yocham and her husband Rick; niece Dana Braden and her husband Bucky; nephew Robert Garrett and his wife Rita, niece Kelly Bacon and her husband Leon, and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Judith (Judy) Sunday.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, at Victory Church in Edmond, 1515 N. Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK 73003.
Pastor Rick Yocham, Kenny's nephew-in-law, will be officiating.
