January 12, 2017, brought to a close 80 years of life well lived for Jack Weathers. He was born in Edmond, Okla. on October 25, 1936 to Harvey and Maudie Weathers.
Jack grew up in Edmond and graduated from Edmond High School then attended DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago, Ill. In 1959 he opened Weathers TV, repairing TVs, appliances and electronics. His favorite pastime was being outdoors fishing and hunting.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his brother and granddaughter, and his first wife Nelda Weathers.
Jack is survived by his wife, Karen Weathers; sister, Nelda Sherrill; sons, Scott Weathers (Val), Steve Weathers (Denise) and Karen's daughters, Delana Chipman (Chip), Carman Mason (Randy), Wendi Liles (Christian); 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services to celebrate Jack's life will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017, in the chapel of Crossings Community Church, Oklahoma City, OK.
Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
