Drue Billy "Bill" Antwine, 85, of McKinney, Texas, was born Jan. 14, 1933 in Soper, Okla., the son of Richard Antwine and Theo (Goss) Antwine. He passed away April 8, 2018. He grew up in Soper and had lived the last four years in McKinney, Texas. Bill was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War attaining the rank of Sergeant.
He married Betty Sue Mires on June 14, 1955 in Adams, Okla. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Hurshel Antwine and Ray Antwine, and four sisters, Ruby Antwine, Jean Antwine, Robbie Ferguson and Joyce Ferguson.
Bill was a proud educator for over fifty years and a member of Phi Delta Kappa International. He enjoyed visiting, bible study and studying history.
Survivors include his son, Kerry Antwine and wife, Sheila of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Susan Janelle Ball and husband, Greg of Garland, Texas, Myra Stanhope and husband, Douglas of Owosso, Mich., and Cindy Kay and husband, Robert of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, Royce Antwine of Temple, Texas and Robert Antwine of Amarillo, Texas; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Hugo, OK with Bro. Bob Rowley officiating. Interment will be at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Soper, OK.
