Diana's Story

Diana Lucille (LeFever) Hensley of Edmond, Okla. was born May 22, 1946. She passed away at her home in Edmond on March 1, 2018.
Diana was a mother to all. She loved needle point and cross-stitch and enjoyed making baby blankets for all the kids within her extended family. Diana enjoyed and always looked forward to watching and caring for her great-grandson Llxander. She was an avid lover of her two companions (her cats) Sissy and Lovey.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Helen LeFever, brother Claude LeFever, her son Michael John-David Hensley and grandson Kyle Mazzeppi.
She is survived by her sister Kathy LeFever; children Stacey Ruggles, Matthew Hensley, Kathy Sue Hensley, and Alicia Hensley; partner Steven Daniel; many grand-children, great-grandchildren and "adopted" children she took in as her own. She will be greatly missed by all.
A public viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday March 5, 2018 at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond.
Per Diana's wishes no formal funeral services will be held.
The family welcomes flowers to be delivered to Matthews Funeral Home or a memorial donation can be made to the Special Olympics in her honor.
