Craig Alan Warn, 55, passed away on Feb. 13, 2018 at his home in Edmond, Okla. He was born in Stillwater, Okla. on Sept. 3, 1962 to Sharon Ann (Weaver) and James E. Warn.
Craig was a 1980 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. He was the owner of the insurance agency Warn & Assoc., Inc. in Oklahoma City for 35 years.
Golfing, hunting and fishing were some of Craig's favorite activities. For many years you could find him on his dock and boat at Catfish Bay on Lake Texoma. When his children were younger he enjoyed attending their school performances and events in Edmond, as well as the athletic games of all his nieces and nephews. He was a good friend to many and his passing has left a void in our family.
Craig was preceded in death by his father, James in 2003 and mother-in-law, Donna Swope in 2016. He leaves behind his mother, Sharon Warn Decker and step-father, Melvin Decker of Edmond.
In addition to his wife, Kendra (Swope) Warn of 33 years, he is survived by daughter, Stephanie and husband Matt Monnet of Edmond, and son, Alec Warn of Bellingham, Wash. Craig planned to welcome his first grandson in April. He is also survived by two brothers, Darren Warn and Kathy Warn of Okemah, Okla. and Brett Warn and Ann Warn of Lawton, Okla; his father-in-law Frank Swope, Jr.; two brother-in-laws, Russell and Rhonda Swope and Robert and Leslee Swope all of Ponca City, Okla.; and five step-brothers and spouses, Ron and Beth Decker, Randy and Anne Decker, Kevin and Michelle Decker, Kreg and Kim Decker, and Spence and Melissa Decker all of Edmond. Craig will be missed by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Craig's funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 at Spring Creek Assembly of God, 1600 E. 15th Street (at Bryant), Edmond, OK immediately followed by his committal service at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N. Kelley Ave., Oklahoma City, OK.
Visitation will be 12-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 and the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
