Cancer won the battle, but Charlotte never gave up the fight. The pain ended September 26, 2017.
She was a beautiful, smart, funny lady who loved life. She loved cruising and cruised from Alaska to the tip of South America, from the Panama Canal to the Australian outback, from Canada to the British Isles to Paris to see the Eiffel tower. She was a proud citizen of Edmond, Okla. and graduated from the Citizens Fire Academy and Citizens Police Academy.
She was preceded in death by her father, J. V. Ray, her sister Teresa Gravitt, and her son, Jesse Gattis.
She is survived by her mother, Alice Ray of Edmond, a niece, Dana Lunde of Las Vegas, Nev. and her loving husband, Vern, of Edmond.
A visitation will be 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Baggerley Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at Baggerley Funeral Home followed by a burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
