Carrol Anne Zorn
February 25, 1935 - August 02, 2018
Carrol married David F. Zorn on June 6, 1952 in Odessa, Texas. They moved to Oklahoma City, Okla. in 1968 to help the Diamonds work in their rental business, opened in November 1964 as a franchise. Later, the franchise was dissolved and the Diamonds and the Zorns formed Diamond & Zorn Rental in Oklahoma City. Carrol and David operated the rental business until retiring in April, 2018.
The Zorns worshipped at Wilshire Church of Christ shortly after moving to Oklahoma City to the present. Carrol was always a faithful Christian woman, who was mindful of listening and then doing what God asked of her, and led her to do and say to others in her life.
Carrol was an intelligent and multi-talented woman. She loved art and expressed herself in many artistic facets - painting, quilting, sewing, and needlework of all kinds. She was a creative seamstress. Carrol loved reading, singing and visiting with family and friends. She also loved to prepare delicious meals for her family. She loved being surrounded by her friends and family and fellowship. She was amazing in her ability to budget her family finances, and always managed to give to the church and many other charities.
Carrol was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Clyde R. Berry, Vern, and Lennie Pearl (Berry) Street; paternal grandparents: Roy and Elizabeth Deborah Diamond; parents, Arlie A. and H. Irene Diamond; grandson, Levi M. Zorn; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, David F. Zorn; children, Steve Zorn and wife Debbie, Clay Zorn and wife Julie, Whitney (Zorn) Weeks and husband, Calvin; brother, Gary L. Diamond; grandchildren, Tiffany (Zorn) Kochenower and husband Vincent, Bj (Zorn) Sneed and husband Michael, Cole Zorn and wife Felisha, Carmen (Weeks) Marcom and husband Levi, Luke Weeks, and
Cassandra Delgado; great-grandchildren, Colten Nokes, Hunter Horton, Aubrey Zorn, Arlie Zorn, and Ethan Delgado; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Bible verse Philippians 4:6-7 is how Carrol lived her life: Don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything, tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done, then you will experience God's peace which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
