Almira's Story

Almira "Mira" Joyce Bradley was born January 5, 1932 in Springfield, Ill. to Dr. and Bernadine Alexander. She passed into heaven on November 2, 2017. Her father died when she was 7 and her brother, O.C. was 4. Bernadine then married Emmett Haworth and Emmett immediately became a loving father to Mira. This family was joined by Patti Nan and Dale Haworth after the family had moved to Tulsa.
Mira graduated from Tulsa Central High School and immediately enrolled in St. John's School of Nursing. Mira loved her various jobs in the nursing area and worked diligently for 40 years in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Wichita and Denver.
She was married for 23 years to Pat Keller and is the mother of three loving children, Bradley Keller, Kenton Keller, and Sandra Keller. This family has now grown with six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In 1976, she married Hugh Bradley and she happily proceeded to follow him around the country in his job as a petroleum engineer. She became the step- mother of three daughters and this portion of her family has grown to include a stepson, and two step-grandsons, and wives plus three step-grandchildren.
Mira is survived by her husband, Hugh; sons, Brad Keller, and Kent Keller; daughter, Sandra Keller; five grandchildren, Aimee Stewart and husband Ian, Heather Mulholland and husband John, Gabriel Keller and wife Jessica, Lianne Webber and husband Joey, and Bryan DuCharme; her loving sister, Patti Shannon and husband Sam; brother, Dale Haworth; stepdaughters, Linda Dixon and husband Richard, Patti Bradley and Nancy Bradley; grandsons Derek and wife Shawna Dixon and Brent and wife Kylie Dixon; three great-grandchildren; a very close niece Jennifer Cummings; and brothers, Ronnie and Michael.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Free to Live, Whiz Kids, or Quail Springs United Methodist Church.
Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2017 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow.
